        The thief, the liar
        The cheat, the sneak
        We like to think
        We are not these
        But every heart
        Holds many keys
        To doors that we
        Cannot forsee
        The broken heart
        Can steer us wrong
        To places where
        We don’t belong
        The hurt, the pain
        We can’t endure
        Can our heads
        At times obscure
        Inside us all
        Resides a light
        Inside us all
        Resides the night
        So hold the keys
        To life anew
        And lock the doors
        To dark and gloom
