When asked about my friends
I have to admit
That now I have many
And before I had zip.
Some of my friends
Like Hockey and P
Might have names that are odd
But that doesn’t shake me.
Others would think
They are not even real
But believe it when I say
They are a very big deal.
There are many more
That I did not name here
They know who they are
And they know they are dear.
My friends I admit
Are from me worlds apart
But while invisible to the eye
They are not invisible to the heart.
