Salary: £79,899.00 to £87,295.00

The Role
We are seeking an Interim Business Development Director (12 Months) to lead the strategic growth of our commissioned services and partnerships across health, criminal justice, and social care systems.
In this role, you will:

Lead high-value bids and manage a pipeline of opportunities with NHS, ICBs, Local Authorities, and other commissioners.

Work with multidisciplinary teams to design innovative, evidence-based service proposals.

Ensure submissions are high-quality, compliant, and demonstrate impact, value, and sustainability.

Shape solutions that balance client needs, financial viability, and operational delivery.

Represent Gordon Moody externally, building strong relationships and influencing commissioning priorities.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:

A strong track record of winning high-value (£500k+) bids in healthcare, mental health, or social care.

In-depth knowledge of NHS and public commissioning processes.

Excellent leadership, communication, and proposal-writing skills.

Commercial acumen and confidence in interpreting financial models.

Resilience and the ability to build trusted relationships quickly.
Experience in addiction or gambling harms, trauma-informed approaches, or safeguarding would be an advantage.
