Dear Santa , will you bring me on Christmas Night this year,
A gun, a drum, a book, a bike or “age 8″ football gear!
A helper in the kitchen for Mummy for the day,
A Tee Total Pin for Daddy in case he drinks his” pay”!
My brother wants a flying plane, my sister wants a pram
I know you’re busy , Santa , just do the best you can!

Reflecting on our childhood “lists” can sometimes bring a smile
But remember “Santa Wishes” become “attachments” in a while!
The “needs” and “wants” we gratify, become our “Heart’s Desire”
But when He takes them from us, and we see our plans backfire,
We raise our eyes to heaven, pray, “I wish that God will hear,
And give me back my strength, my health, the things that I hold dear.
I need them Lord to carry out my work upon this earth
This is all I ask, Lord; I don’t need fame or wealth”

“That may not be My Plan, child, He whispered in my ear,
But do your best and carry on, My Love casts out all Fear!
