My mind is racing
My hands they shake
I’m contemplating
A big mistake
Why do I want that?
What’s the attraction?
It tries to lure me
Back into action
I just want the pain to stop….
I want to fade away…..
Into the comfortable indifference
Of the chaos of the play
What is it I lack
That makes me so weak
I’m so tired of this fight
I want to lay down and sleep
The road is laid out
I can see where it leads
If I choose to go down it
Insanity it feeds
