Regret Dear Mr big fat casino owner I was a loner I thought your toys were not just for boys You welcomed me in, You said with a great big grin “hey lady, don’t think about sin! Come on in and have a spin, First time, I’ll make sure you win.” Fifty millions spins you made me a VIP How special am I, I didn’t even win. So no need to inform my next of kin Are you sure you didn’t mean my twin? We have similar skin. So it is regretful that all it did was make me fretful But never forgetful I won’t forget your place of damnation Where I felt no elation but plenty of sensation. Let’s call it stagnation Painful with a spirit that is disdainful. Yours in recovery Liberty no longer in captivity
